Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that makes your phone vibrate during a call, a notification or haptic feedback. This compatible part is designed to replace the vibration motor of your Pixel 10a when it no longer responds, vibrates weakly or produces abnormal noises.
Before you start, switch off the phone completely and disconnect the battery if your model's procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools so as not to scratch the chassis. Remember to discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal object. Carefully remove the current part, avoiding forcing the connectors and fragile ribbon cables.
Once the vibration motor is installed, reconnect the battery, power the phone back on and test it with several types of notifications and a call. Check that no ribbon cable is pinched and that the vibration motor is securely fixed. If the phone overheats abnormally or the battery swells, stop using it immediately.
