This compatible part is designed for the Google Pixel 6. It is manufactured by a third party, which makes it an economical option for replacing the faulty vibration motor.
A vibration motor that no longer works is often noticed by a complete absence of vibration, weak vibrations or an abnormal noise. Before you start, switch off the phone, place it on a clean surface and use a suitable tool to open the chassis without forcing it. Work in a well-lit area and handle the components carefully, as static electricity can damage the circuits. Disconnect the battery before touching the flex cables.
After fitting, check correct operation by enabling vibration in the settings, then testing a call or a notification. Reassemble the phone only once the test is successful. If the current battery is swollen or damaged, do not use it and do not puncture or bend it.
