Description
The vibration motor, also called a haptic motor, is a small component that makes the phone vibrate during calls, notifications and tactile feedback. This part, compatible with the Google Pixel 6 Pro, lets you replace a faulty vibration motor. When it no longer works, the phone stays silent in vibration mode, or the tactile feedback becomes weak, irregular or absent, while the speaker and screen work normally.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface and use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to limit electrostatic discharge. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery and do not use a swollen cell. Keep heat moderate when opening the device.
After reassembly, check the vibration with notifications, a test call and the phone's control app. If the part appears to work, let the device complete a few full charge cycles before intensive use.
