Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during calls, notifications and haptic feedback. This compatible vibration motor is designed to replace the current part of the Google Pixel 7 Pro when it no longer works or only vibrates weakly.
When the vibration motor is faulty, the phone stays silent in vibrate mode, notifications go unnoticed or the tactile feedback from the keyboard and screen disappears. Replacing this component restores these functions without changing the whole phone.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Handle the ribbon cables with care and avoid static electricity. After fitting, check the operation by testing calls, notifications and haptic feedback before fully closing the phone.
Tips
- Switch off the phone before any repair
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables
- Check the vibration before closing the phone
- Avoid static electricity during fitting
Fitting
