Description
The vibrator is the small motor that produces your smartphone's vibrations: haptic feedback, alerts and silent notifications. This compatible part is designed for the Google Pixel 8a and replaces the current vibrator when it no longer works or only vibrates weakly.
If your phone no longer vibrates, vibrates irregularly or makes an abnormal noise, the vibrator is often the cause. Before you start, switch off the device, remove the case and prepare a clean workspace, protected from static electricity. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never pierce or bend the lithium battery. If it is swollen, stop using the phone.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the vibrations with a notification or a call. Also check that the ribbon cables are properly clipped in and that the phone does not overheat. If a battery was replaced at the same time, allow for a few full charge cycles so that it regains stable operation.
