Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that produces your phone's vibrations during calls, notifications and haptic feedback on screen. This compatible part is designed to replace the faulty vibration motor of a Google Pixel 9. If your phone no longer vibrates, or if the vibration is weak, irregular or accompanied by an unusual noise, this replacement may solve the problem.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with suitable tools, and avoid excessive heat. A lithium battery must never be punctured or bent, and a swollen battery must no longer be used. Protect yourself from static electricity, for example by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
After fitting, check the operation by testing the vibrations with several settings (call, notification, keyboard). Make sure the ribbon cables are properly clipped in before powering the phone back on. If the vibration is still absent, check the connections and the system setting.
