Description
The vibrator is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during calls, notifications and on-screen haptic feedback. This vibrator, compatible with the Pixel 9 Pro, replaces the current part when it no longer vibrates, vibrates weakly or produces an abnormal noise.
This is a third-party part, offered as a compatible alternative to the current component. Before fitting, switch off the device and disconnect the battery to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface and protect your components from static electricity with an anti-static wrist strap if possible.
After the replacement, check the operation by activating vibration for calls and notifications, then test the keyboard haptic feedback. Make sure the vibrator cable is properly connected and that the ribbon cable is not trapped. Once the device is closed, carry out a few complete charging cycles to check the stability of the whole.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any intervention
- Protect the components from static electricity during fitting
- Do not puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Check the cable and ribbon cable before closing the device
- Test vibration for calls, notifications and keyboard
