Description
The vibrator is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during calls, notifications and haptic feedback. This compatible part fits in place of the current one when it no longer produces vibration or makes an abnormal noise.
A faulty vibrator is often noticed by the absence of haptic feedback, while the ringtone works normally. Replacing it restores vibration without touching the rest of the device. This part is manufactured by a third party and offered as compatible with the Pixel model.
Before you begin, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before working on the connectors. Avoid electrostatic discharge by working on a clean surface and, if possible, earthing yourself. After fitting, test the vibration with several notifications and check that the phone does not overheat abnormally.
