Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that makes the smartphone vibrate during a call, a notification or tactile feedback. This compatible part is designed for the Poco C40. It allows you to replace a faulty vibration motor, for example when the phone no longer vibrates at all or the vibration is weak, irregular or accompanied by an abnormal noise.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface at room temperature and protect the components from static electricity with an anti-static wrist strap or by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Note the exact position of the screws and connectors, and handle the ribbon cables with care.
Once the assembly is complete, reconnect the battery, power the device back on and test the vibration with several types of notifications, then during a call. If the battery is swollen or damaged, do not use it and do not puncture it.
