Description
The vibrator is the small motor that makes your smartphone vibrate during calls, notifications and certain commands. This compatible component for Poco C85 4G replaces the current part when it no longer produces any vibration, or when it is noisy or irregular.
The most common fault is a complete absence of vibration, but weak, intermittent vibrations or vibrations accompanied by a buzzing sound also occur. Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace. Use an antistatic tool and plastic tweezers to avoid damaging the ribbon cables and connectors.
After fitting, switch the phone back on and test the vibrator with several notifications and a call. Also check that no cable is pinched and that the component is securely fixed. If the current part is swollen, do not use it any more and handle it with care.
Tips
- Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables
- Use antistatic tools and plastic tweezers
- Do not pinch any cable when refitting
- Test the vibrator with a call and several notifications
- Do not use a swollen, punctured or bent battery
