Description
The vibrator is a small motor that makes the phone vibrate during calls, notifications and certain touch feedback. This compatible part is designed for the Redmi 9A. When it is faulty, the phone no longer vibrates or produces an abnormal noise, without necessarily stopping the rest of the device from working.
Before replacing it, switch the smartphone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface, with suitable tools and an anti-static mat if possible. Do not force the connectors and handle the ribbon cables with care. If the battery is swollen, stop using it, do not puncture it and do not bend it.
Once reassembly is complete, check the vibrator works by activating vibrate mode, then testing notifications and a call. Also check the fitting is secure to avoid crackling. If the battery was disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles to restore stable operation.
Tips
- Switch the device off and disconnect the battery before any work
- Use suitable tools and avoid static electricity
- Do not force the connectors and handle the ribbon cables carefully
- Check the vibrator in vibrate mode, notifications and calls after fitting
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
