Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during a call, a notification or haptic feedback. This compatible part is designed for the Redmi Note 10s. It replaces the current part when vibrations are weak, absent or irregular.
Before fitting, switch off the phone completely and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface and use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch a metal ground to avoid electrostatic discharge. Note the position and orientation of the vibration motor so you can refit it correctly.
After reassembly, check the function by testing notifications and vibrations. Also make sure the phone starts and the screen responds properly. If a battery is swollen, stop using it.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before working on it
- Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Check vibration, calls and the screen after fitting
- Swollen battery: stop using it
