Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during a call, a notification or a touch input. This compatible part is designed for the Redmi Note 12. It replaces the current part when it no longer produces any vibration, or only a weak or irregular vibration.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface and use a plastic spudger or a suction cup to open the phone without forcing it. Protect the components from static electricity, for example by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the part.
After fitting, reconnect the battery and check the function: test calls, notifications and the haptic feedback of the keyboard. If the battery was disconnected, let the device go through a few complete charge cycles so that it settles properly. Never puncture or bend the battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
