Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that makes your phone vibrate during calls, notifications and haptic feedback on the screen. This compatible part replaces the faulty vibration motor of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus. Weak, absent or noisy vibration often indicates that the motor is the cause, but you should also check the phone's settings before any intervention.
Before fitting, switch off the device and disconnect the battery. Prepare a small suitable screwdriver, a non-metallic flat tweezers and a tray to store the screws. Work on a clean, clear surface and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal object. Do not drill, bend or force any component. If the battery is swollen, do not try to repair it: stop using it.
After reassembly, check the vibration on several events, such as a test call or a notification. If you have replaced the battery at the same time, carry out a few full charge cycles before judging the result.
