Description
The vibrator is the small motor that makes your phone vibrate during calls, notifications and the haptic feedback of the keyboard. This compatible part is designed for the Redmi Note 14 Pro+. It replaces the faulty vibrator when the phone no longer vibrates, vibrates weakly or makes an abnormal noise.
Before you start, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface and discharge any static electricity, for example by touching an earthed metal surface. Do not bend the ribbon cables and do not force the connectors. Use moderate heat if an adhesive needs to be softened, and never puncture a lithium battery.
After fitting, reconnect the battery, switch the phone on and test the vibrator on several notifications and calls. If the phone shows a swollen battery, stop using it immediately.
Tips
- Disconnect the battery before any work on the ribbon cables
- Avoid static electricity by working on a clean surface
- Never force a connector and do not bend the ribbon cables
- Test the vibrator on calls and notifications after fitting
- Swollen or damaged battery: stop using it
