Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate to signal a call, a notification or tactile feedback. This compatible part for the Redmi Note 9S replaces the module when the phone no longer vibrates, vibrates continuously or produces an abnormal noise. It is fitted in place of the old vibration motor, without modifying the other components.
Before any work, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Use an antistatic wrist strap, or touch an earthed metal surface regularly, to avoid electrostatic discharges. Work on a clean surface and keep the small screws in a container. If you need to soften an adhesive, use moderate heat.
After fitting, reconnect the battery and check the operation with a test call and a notification in vibrate mode. If the battery is swollen, stop using it. Never puncture it and do not bend it.
