Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during a call, a notification or tactile feedback. For the Redmi Note 9T, this compatible part replaces the faulty vibration motor and restores that haptic feedback.
A vibration motor fault is often recognised by a complete absence of vibration, a weak or irregular vibration, or an unusual noise during notifications. Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, avoiding static electricity. Note the position and orientation of the current part to make reassembly easier.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the vibration across several uses: call, notification, keypad. Also check that the connectors are properly clicked in and that the phone does not overheat.
