Description

A vibrator failure shows up as no haptic feedback, or as weak, irregular or noisy vibrations. Before you start, switch the tablet off completely, disconnect the power supply and work on a clean, well-lit surface. Do not puncture, bend or press on the lithium battery, and do not use it if it appears swollen. To avoid electrostatic discharge, touch an earthed metal surface before handling the components, and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables.
Once assembly is complete, reconnect the tablet and check the vibrator's operation in the haptic feedback settings. Also watch the device's temperature during the first uses, which should remain moderate. If in doubt, stop the tablet and check the connections again.
