Description
The vibrator is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during calls, notifications and alerts. This compatible V30 component replaces the current part when it no longer vibrates, vibrates only weakly or makes an abnormal noise. Once fitted, it restores correct haptic feedback, without changing how the rest of the device works.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small suitable screwdriver, flat tweezers and a clean tray to store the screws. Disconnect the battery before touching the flex cables, and avoid any contact with metal parts or a surface sensitive to static electricity. Work in a well-lit area at a moderate temperature, and never force the connectors.
Once the vibrator is installed and the phone is closed again, switch the device back on and test notifications, calls and alerts. If the vibrator still does not work, check that the flex cable is properly seated. For the battery, do not puncture it, do not bend it and never use a swollen battery.
