Description
The vibrator is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during a call, a notification or an alarm. This part, compatible with the LG V35 ThinQ, replaces the faulty vibrator of the current part when the vibrations no longer trigger, are weak or produce an abnormal noise.
Before you begin, switch off the smartphone completely and disconnect the battery if your disassembly requires it. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and avoid any contact with metal parts to limit static electricity discharges. Never force the connectors and take the time to carefully identify the position and orientation of the vibrator before removing it.
Once reassembly is complete, switch the device back on and test the vibrator with several notifications and by adjusting the intensity if the menu allows. Also check that other functions, such as the speaker and the buttons, remain operational. If the battery was disconnected, one or two full charge cycles will confirm that it works properly.
Tips
- Switch off the phone before any intervention
- Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed surface
- Never force the connectors and ribbon cables
- Test the vibrator on several notifications after fitting
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
