Description
This compatible screw set replaces the fixing screws of the iPad 2 (2011). It is used to refasten the internal components of the tablet, such as the flex cable, the motherboard or the rear casing, after a repair. Screws that are loosely fitted or damaged can cause abnormal play in the casing, scratches or incorrect contact of the internal parts.
Before you start, prepare a suitable screwdriver and a tray to sort the screws by their location. Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before dismantling anything. Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity, and avoid excessive heat while handling the parts.
After assembly, check that each screw turns without forcing and that the casing does not move. Do not overtighten, so that the thread is not damaged. Power on the device and check its operation before closing it fully.
