Description
This screw set is a compatible spare part for the iPhone 12. It is used to fasten the various internal components of the phone, such as the logic board, the battery or the chassis, and to replace screws that are missing, damaged or were harmed during a previous repair. An unsuitable screw can strip the housing thread or fail to hold a component properly, which is why a complete set lets you restore every position neatly without improvising.
Before you start, prepare a clean, well-lit, flat workspace, with an anti-static mat if possible. Note the exact position of each screw by laying them out in order on a sheet or tray, as their lengths may differ. Use a screwdriver that fits the screw heads and avoid forcing anything. To prevent static discharge, touch an earthed metal surface before handling components.
Once reassembly is complete, check that each screw is firmly tightened without being overtightened, that the phone powers on and that the refitted parts work correctly. If the battery was disconnected, charge the phone gradually and watch that it does not overheat. Never use a device whose battery is swollen or damaged.
