Description
This compatible screw set is designed for the iPhone 12 Pro Max. It is used to secure the internal components of the device, particularly when replacing the battery, the screen or a sensor. A loose, lost or damaged screw can prevent a part from being held properly, cause play or make it harder to close the casing. Having a complete set lets you reassemble the device neatly, without improvising with replacement screws.
Before you start, prepare a clean, well-lit workspace, with a magnetic mat or a tray to store each screw according to its location. Take photos of the inside before disassembly to help you during reassembly. Work with a suitable screwdriver, without forcing, and avoid excessive heat. Also protect the device from static electricity.
After assembly, check that each screw is properly engaged without being tightened so much that it cracks the bracket. Check that the parts sit correctly and that the casing closes without strain. If a screw resists unusually, stop and check its alignment. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
