Description
This compatible screw set is designed for the iPhone 5S. It is used to refit the various parts of the phone after a repair, such as replacing the screen, the battery or the motherboard. A screw that is not tightened properly or is lost can cause abnormal play in the chassis, a noise inside the device or a faulty fixing of the flex cable or the shielding plate.
Before you start, work on a flat, clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible. Keep the screws in a small tray or dish, sorted by their location, as lengths and heads are not always identical. Disconnect the battery before touching any flex cables and never use a swollen battery.
Once the assembly is complete, check that each screw is in place and tightened without forcing it, then check that the phone switches on and that the components work correctly.
