Description
This screw is a spare part compatible with the MacBook Pro 13" A2159 from 2019. It is used to secure the various internal components of the computer, such as the bottom case or certain board brackets. A missing, loose or damaged screw can cause play, vibrations or a case that does not close properly. Replacing a damaged screw therefore helps restore a stable assembly during a repair.
Before you start, switch off the computer, unplug the charger and place it on a flat, clean surface. Use a screwdriver suited to the screw head to avoid damaging it, and work without forcing anything. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components. If you need to work near the battery, disconnect it beforehand and never pierce or bend it.
Once the screw is in place, check that it is properly seated, that the case closes without effort and that no play appears. Switch the device back on only after these checks. If the battery seems swollen or the computer overheats abnormally, stop using the device.
