Description
The rear glass protects the back of your device and lets you see the inside of the casing. This compatible part replaces the current one when it is cracked, scratched or shattered. It also helps restore a clean look and good sealing on the back of the device.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and remove the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and gently warm the edges with a hot air gun on a moderate setting to loosen the adhesive without forcing it. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a swollen battery.
After fitting, check that the glass is securely attached, with no play and no bubbles, then test the buttons and functions of the device. Switch it back on only once all parts are back in place.
Tips
- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work
- Warm the edges gently on a moderate setting to loosen the adhesive
- Avoid static electricity: work on an anti-static mat
- Never puncture the battery and do not use a swollen battery
- Check the fit and functions before closing the device
