Description
The rear glass is the glass panel that protects the back of your LG G7 ThinQ. It covers the chassis and also serves as a support for some components of the phone. When it is cracked, shattered or scratched, it can cut your hand, let in dust and moisture, and damage the chassis over time. This compatible part replaces the current one to restore an intact back and a clean surface.
Before you start, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and keep the small screws in a dedicated compartment. Warm the adhesive gently with a hairdryer on a moderate heat setting to make removal easier, and never force or bend the glass.
After assembly, check that the glass sits flat across its entire surface and that the adhesive bonds properly. Also check that the buttons and the camera work correctly. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it carefully. A swollen battery must no longer be used.
