Description
This compatible rear glass replaces the current part of your iPad Mini 2 (2013). It protects the back of the tablet and supports the casing. If it is cracked, shattered or deeply scratched, replacing it restores a clean appearance and a securely closed casing.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and unplug it. Work on a clean surface, in a well-lit place, with suitable tools. Warm the edges lightly with a hairdryer, without overdoing it, to soften the adhesive. Use a flat plastic tool to separate the glass and never force it. Protect yourself from static electricity by avoiding synthetic mats.
After fitting, check that the glass is well aligned, without play, and that the buttons and connectors remain accessible. Switch the device back on only once the work is finished. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture or bend it. A moderate charge and a functional check are recommended before normal use.
