Description
The rear glass replaces the glass panel that protects the back of your iPhone 15 Plus. It also covers the camera and sensor bracket. This part is suitable for references A3094 and A2847. It lets you repair a cracked, shattered or deeply scratched back without touching the rest of the device.
Before you start, switch off the phone and place it on a stable, dust-free surface. Use a plastic opening tool and a suction cup so you do not damage the chassis. If the battery is worn or swollen, stop using it and take it to a suitable recycling point. Work at room temperature and avoid overheating the glass to lift it, as heat can damage the internal components.
Once fitting is complete, check that the glass is firmly attached and that no cable is pinched. Switch the device on and check charging as well as the camera's operation. Also put the device through a few full charge cycles to confirm that everything works properly.
Tips
- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Swollen battery: stop using it and do not attempt to repair it
- Use plastic tools so you do not scratch the chassis
- Check charging and the camera after fitting
