Description
The rear glass protects the back of your iPhone 17 and houses, among other things, the sensors and the logo. When it is cracked, shattered or deeply scratched, it can cut your hand, let dust and moisture in, and spoil the overall look of the device. This compatible part replaces the current piece so you regain a smooth surface and proper protection.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and place it on a clean, flat surface. Use a suitable opening tool and a moderate heat source, never exceeding a reasonable temperature, to soften the adhesive. Do not drill, do not bend and do not apply excessive pressure to the lithium battery. If it appears swollen, stop using the device. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables and avoid static electricity by working on an anti-static mat.
Once the glass is fitted, check the alignment, the adhesion all around the edge and the absence of play. Switch the device on and check that the sensors and the glass area work correctly. If you are also replacing the battery, carry out a few full charge cycles so that the battery level display is reliable.

- Warm the edge gently to soften the adhesive, without overdoing it
- Never drill or bend the lithium battery
- Work on a clean surface to avoid dust and scratches
