Description
The rear glass is the glass panel that protects the back of your iPhone 17 Pro Max. It often cracks after a fall, even a light one, and the shards can cut you or make the phone harder to hold. This compatible part replaces the damaged glass to give you a clean, solid back again, without touching the front screen.
Replacing it requires patience and good tools: gently heat the edge of the glass to soften the adhesive, then lift it off with a suction cup and a flat spatula. Work on a clean, well-lit surface and protect the internal components. Before any disassembly, switch off the device and disconnect the battery. Never drill or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
After fitting, check that the glass is firmly bonded all around, with no bubbles or gaps. Test wireless charging and the sensors. Apply the glass on a clean support, free of dust, and avoid excessive heat during bonding.
