Description
The rear glass replaces the glass panel that protects the back of the iPhone 5. It protects the internal components and keeps the device looking as it should. This part lets you replace a cracked, shattered or deeply scratched glass, for example after a fall.
This part is compatible with iPhone 5. Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with suitable tools, and avoid excessive heat. Discharge static electricity before handling the components.
After fitting, check that the glass is securely attached, with no play and no contact with the chassis, then check that the device works properly. If the battery is swollen, stop using it. Do not puncture or bend a lithium battery.
