Description
The rear glass is the glass panel that protects the back of the phone and lets the camera and flash elements through. This part, compatible with the Mi 9 Lite, is used to replace a cracked, scratched or broken rear glass, without changing the rest of the phone. It mainly addresses faults caused by a knock or a fall that damaged the rear glass, and helps you get back a clean, solid back.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Prepare a clean workspace, a small screen-opening tool, a heat gun set to a moderate temperature and suction cups. Be careful: never bend or pierce the lithium battery, and do not use the device if the battery is swollen. Avoid static electricity by working on an anti-static surface.
Once the glass is fitted, check that the edge is sealed, that there is no play, and that the camera and flash work properly before closing everything up completely. If a battery was replaced at the same time, carry out a few full charge cycles so that it stabilises.
