Description
The rear glass is the glass panel that protects the back of your phone. It covers the chassis, the camera sensors and the flash, and gives the smartphone its finished look. This part, compatible with the Mi Note 10 Lite, lets you replace a cracked, shattered or deeply scratched rear glass without changing the rest of the device.
The rear glass is fixed to the chassis with adhesive. Replacement therefore requires careful preparation: gently warm the edges with a hair dryer on a moderate heat setting to soften the glue, then lift the glass off using a suction cup and a plastic spudger. Next, clean the chassis to remove any adhesive residue. To avoid damage, disconnect the battery before working on the ribbon cables, work on a clean surface and use an anti-static wrist strap if you have one.
After fitting, check that the glass sits flush all the way round and that the camera sensors and flash are not obstructed. Test the camera and flash before closing the device completely. A lithium battery must never be punctured or bent; if it is swollen, stop using the device.
