Description
The rear glass is the glass panel on the back of the phone. It protects the inside of the device and sometimes lets through light or the signals that certain components need. When it is cracked, scratched or broken, the edges can cut your hand and moisture or dust can get inside. This part is compatible with the Note 70T and replaces the damaged glass so you get a clean, solid back again.
Before you start, switch off the phone and wait until the battery is disconnected before touching the ribbon cables. Warm the edges gently with a hair dryer on a low setting to soften the adhesive, without going to high heat. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and keep the small screws in a tray so they do not get lost.
Once the new glass is fitted, check that the edges line up and that there is no play. Then switch the device back on to test it. Remove the protective films carefully and clean the surface before bonding. If the current battery is swollen, do not try to repair it and never puncture it.
