Description
This compatible rear glass replaces the glass back of your Motorola One Macro, models XT2016 and 2019. It protects the internal components of the phone and lets light through to the flash and camera sensors. It is mainly used to repair a rear glass that is cracked, scratched or shattered, often after a fall.
Before you start, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery if your technical level allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible. Use a plastic tool to lift the glass without forcing or bending the frame. Gently heat the edges with a hairdryer on a moderate setting to soften the adhesive.
After assembly, check that the glass sits firmly, with no play or bubbles, and that the sensors and flash work. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and never puncture it.
