Description
The rear glass is the glass panel that protects the back of the phone, above the battery and internal components. When it is cracked or shattered, it can cut your hand, let in dust and moisture, and spoil the overall look of the device. This compatible rear glass for OnePlus 7 Pro lets you replace the current part to get back a smooth surface and proper protection.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace. Use suitable tools, a suction cup and a plastic spudger to separate the glass without forcing it. For ribbon cables and connectors, disconnect the battery before any handling and avoid static discharge by touching an earthed metal surface. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and never use a device whose battery is swollen.
Once the assembly is finished, check that the glass is firmly attached, that there is no dust under the glass and that charging works without excessive heat. For a replaced battery or a new fixing, carry out several full charge cycles to stabilise the whole assembly.
