Description
The rear glass is the glass panel that protects the back of your smartphone. On the Pixel 10, it covers the internal components and contributes to the look of the device. When it is cracked or shattered, dust and moisture can get inside, and the sharp glass can cause injury.
This compatible rear glass is designed to replace the damaged part currently fitted. It suits cracks, chips and damaged edges on the back panel. For fitting, work on a clean, flat surface with good lighting. Warm the edge lightly with a hot air gun on a moderate setting to soften the adhesive, then lift the glass off with a suction cup and a plastic spudger. Use a suction cup and a plastic spudger, and avoid any metal tool that could scratch the frame.
Before closing, check the alignment of the glass and the cleanliness of the bonding surfaces. Disconnect the battery before working on the ribbon cables, and avoid electrostatic discharge by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Once the device is reassembled, check that the glass is firmly held and that there is no dust under the glass.
