Description
The rear glass protects the inside of your Pixel 3 and contributes to the overall appearance of the phone. When it is cracked or shattered, it can cut your hand, let in dust and moisture, and make the back of the shell less sturdy. This compatible part replaces the current glass to restore the back of the phone to good condition.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Prepare a small tool for opening the edge, a suction cup, a heat gun set to a moderate temperature and a tray to keep the screws in order. Beware of static electricity and work on a clean, dry surface. Never pierce or bend the lithium battery, and do not use the phone if the battery appears swollen.
After fitting, check that the glass is firmly attached all around the edge, with no play and no air bubbles, and that the side buttons respond correctly. Switch the device on and check that the phone starts and charges normally, running a few full charge cycles to confirm it works properly.
