Description
The rear glass protects the back of your Pixel 3a and forms the visual surface of the whole phone. When it is cracked, scratched or chipped, it can cut your hand, let dust and moisture in, and weaken the inside of the device. This compatible part replaces the current glass so that your casing is clean and solid again.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and work on a flat, clean, well-lit surface. Warm the edges gently with a heat gun on a moderate setting to soften the adhesive, and never overheat anything. Use plastic tools to avoid scratching the frame, and disconnect the battery before touching any cables. Protect yourself from static electricity by avoiding rugs and touching a metal surface.
After fitting, check that the glass is firmly stuck all the way round and that no gaps or bubbles are visible. Switch the device back on and test the buttons and the flash. If the battery was disconnected, let it go through a few full charge cycles to return to normal operation. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and stop using any phone whose battery is swollen.
