Description

The rear glass is the glass panel that protects the back of the phone and lets through the components of the device, such as wireless charging. On the Pixel 6 Pro, a cracked or shattered rear glass can cut your hand, let in dust and moisture, and damage the chassis if you wait too long.

This compatible part replaces the current one when only the rear face is damaged. It suits cracks, chips and deep scratches. For a successful repair, prepare a clean workspace, a small suitable screwdriver, suction cups and a flat plastic tool to separate the glass without forcing it. Gently warm the edges with a hair dryer on a moderate heat setting to soften the adhesive, then work slowly.

Before reassembly, check that the seals are correctly placed and that the part is properly aligned. Disconnect the battery before any work on the flex cables, avoid static electricity, and never puncture or bend the battery. If it is swollen, stop using the phone. After fitting, check the water resistance and the wireless charging function.
