Description
The rear glass is the glass panel that protects the back of your Pixel 7. It is often cracked after a fall, and a damaged panel can cut through glass shards or prevent a protective case from sticking properly. This compatible part lets you replace this back panel and get a clean, intact back again.
Before you start, prepare a clean, well-lit and clear workspace. Use suitable tools, such as a suction cup and a plastic opening kit, so you do not scratch the frame. Warm the edge gently with a hairdryer on a low setting, without overdoing it, to soften the adhesive. Avoid excessive heat, as it can damage the internal components.
For safety, disconnect the battery before working near the ribbon cables and avoid any pressure on the battery. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it. After reassembly, check that the glass is firmly attached, that no gap is visible and that the phone switches on properly. Once reassembled, carry out a few full charging cycles to confirm it works correctly.

- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery; do not use it if it is swollen
- Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables
- Check the seal and adhesion before fully closing up
