Description
The rear glass protects the back of your Pixel 9a and gives the device its finish. When it is cracked or scratched, it can cut into the edges, make the phone harder to hold and let dust and moisture reach the internal components. This compatible part replaces the current one so you get a clean, solid back again.
Before you start, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery if your procedure requires it. Work on a flat, clean surface with a plastic opening tool to separate the glass without forcing it. Gently warm the edges with a hair dryer on a moderate heat to soften the adhesive, and never overheat the device. Protect yourself against static electricity by avoiding synthetic carpets.
After fitting, check that the glass sits flat all the way around and that no dust is trapped underneath. Test the device is working properly before closing it up for good. If the battery was disconnected, let the phone complete a few full charge cycles to return to normal operation.
