Description
The rear glass is the outer panel that protects the back of your Pixel Fold. It covers the chassis and the camera module, and its condition directly affects the sturdiness and appearance of the device. This compatible part is designed to replace the current one when it is cracked, scratched or shattered.
Before you start, work on a clean, well-lit surface, with an anti-static mat if possible. Prepare suitable tools, such as a suction cup, a plastic spudger and tweezers, so as not to damage the chassis. Always disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid excessive heat while lifting the glass. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and stop using the device if the battery looks swollen.
After fitting, check that the glass is properly aligned, that no gap is visible and that the camera module is correctly positioned. Then test the device's operation and the response of the sensors near the edge. A compatible part may show slight differences from the current one: take the time to test everything before normal use.
