Description
The rear glass protects the back of your Pixel XL and covers the visible elements on the back of the phone. This compatible part replaces the current glass when it is cracked, scratched or shattered after a fall. It restores a smooth back and proper protection of the internal components against everyday dust and moisture.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and place it on a clean, flat surface. Gently warm the edges with a hairdryer at a moderate temperature to soften the adhesive, without ever overheating the phone. Work with a plastic tool to avoid scratching the frame, and disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables. Anti-static protection is recommended throughout the handling.
After fitting, check that the glass is firmly secured and that the seal is correct before putting the phone back into service. If you also replace the adhesive, apply it neatly and let it rest for a few minutes under light pressure. Then carry out a few function checks to make sure everything is in order.
