Description
The rear glass is the glass panel that protects the back of your phone. It covers the chassis and leaves the camera and flash exposed. A cracked or shattered rear glass can cut your hand, let in dust and moisture, and damage the internal housing. This compatible part for Poco M5s lets you replace the damaged glass and restore a clean look and good protection for the back of your device.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Prepare a clean, well-lit workspace, with a small suitable screwdriver, a suction cup and a flat plastic tool to separate the glass without scratching the frame. Gently warm the edges with a hair dryer on a moderate setting to soften the adhesive, and never exceed lukewarm temperature. Work carefully so you do not bend or puncture the lithium battery located under the glass. If the battery appears swollen, stop using the device.
Once the glass is fitted, check that the edges sit flush, that the camera is not obstructed and that the flash is clear. Clean the surface with a dry, soft cloth. Press evenly for a few minutes to ensure good adhesion, then power on the device and check everything before normal use.
