Description
The back glass is the glass or protective material panel that covers the back of the phone. It protects the internal components and gives the device its outer appearance. On a Redmi A1, it can crack or scratch after a fall, and it sometimes comes away from the chassis.
This compatible part is used to replace the damaged current part. It is made by a third party and designed to fit the Redmi A1 model. Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface with a suitable opening tool, and avoid forcing the edges so as not to damage the ribbon cables or the chassis.
After fitting, check that the glass is firmly in place, with no play, and that the buttons and camera work properly. Clean the surface to remove any traces of adhesive or dust. If the current part was swollen, do not reuse it, and never puncture or bend a lithium battery.
