Description
The rear glass is the glass panel that protects the back of your Redmi A1 Plus smartphone. It also houses the openings for the camera and the finishing elements. When it is cracked, shattered or deeply scratched, it is advisable to replace it so that splinters cannot cause injury and so that moisture or dust cannot get into the chassis.
This compatible part, made by a third party, replaces the current part once that one has been removed. Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery if your skill level allows. Work on a clean surface, using a tool suited to lifting the glass without bending it. Keep a dry cloth and a suction cup to hand to handle the fragments.
Once fitting is complete, check that the glass adheres all the way round, that there is no play, and that the camera lens works properly. Avoid any excessive heat while the adhesive dries, and stay alert to static electricity when handling the components.
