Description
The back glass is the glass panel that protects the rear of the phone and lets you see the back of the device. When it is cracked or shattered, it can cut your hand, let in dust and moisture, and make the phone harder to hold. This compatible part for Redmi A3 replaces the current one and restores a clean, intact back.
Before you start, switch off the phone and remove the battery if the design allows it. Work on a flat, clean surface, using a small heat gun at moderate heat to soften the adhesive, and never exceed a reasonable temperature. Protect yourself from static electricity by avoiding wool rugs and touching a metal surface before handling components.
Once the glass is fitted, check that the edges are aligned, that there are no bubbles under the glass and that the side buttons work properly. As a precaution, also check that the device does not overheat abnormally during a few minutes of use.
