Description
The back glass is the glass panel that protects the back of the phone and the camera area on the rear of the device. Once cracked or scratched, it can cut your hand, let in dust and moisture, and spoil the look of the smartphone. This compatible part is designed to replace the current part of the Redmi Note 12 Pro and restore a smooth, protected surface.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit and clear workspace. Use suitable tools, such as a suction cup, a plastic spudger and a small hairdryer on moderate heat to soften the adhesive without overheating. Avoid any direct contact with the lithium battery: do not puncture it, do not bend it, and disconnect it before touching the ribbon cables. If the battery is swollen, stop using the device.
After fitting, check that the glass is firmly stuck, without bubbles or misalignment, and that the edges are sealed. Also check that the camera area is clear and clean. As a precaution, run a few normal charging cycles before heavy use. Protect your components from static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling them.
